Viking Europe in Venlo offers an internship in Project Management within Purchasing & Assortment, focused on shaping pricing strategies and ensuring competitive online pricing across markets. You’ll map and document processes, analyze performance, and drive improvements with stakeholders.

You are a 3rd year bachelor student in Business Admin, Industrial Engineering, or Ops Management, with strong English, initiative, and interest in process optimisation.

Qualifications

• You are a 3rd year Bachelor student studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Good communicator and able to manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Ideally experience with process mapping tools or Lean/Six Sigma concepts.

Responsabilités

• Map and document existing operational processes across different departments.
• Analyse process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, align priorities, and validate proposed changes.
• Support the implementation of process optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance operational efficiency and overall quality.

What To Expect During Your Internship

As part of the Purchasing & Assortment department, you’ll join a team that plays a central role in managing product categories and shaping pricing strategies. Within this environment, the Pricing team focuses on building competitive pricing approaches and ensuring accurate online pricing across markets. In this role, you’ll contribute to analysing and optimizing how our business operates. You’ll map and clearly document operational processes, collaborate with stakeholders across departments, and identify opportunities to streamline and improve the way we work. It’s a hands-on experience for someone who enjoys understanding how systems function, spotting ways to enhance them, and turning ideas into measurable results.

Your Profile

• You are a 3 rd year Bachelor student studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• You have a keen interest in operations, project management, and process improvement
• You have excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• You are proactive with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• You are a good communicator and know how to manage relationships with different stakeholders
• You have good spoken and written English skills
• Ideally, you already have experience with process mapping tools or Lean/Six Sigma concepts
• You are available full-time from February 2027 for a duration of 5-6 months
