Viking Nederland invites a motivated intern to join the Purchasing & Assortment team in Venlo for a 5–6 month internship starting February 2027. You will help shape pricing strategies, map processes, and document operations while collaborating across departments to drive efficiency.

The role offers hands-on experience in a European workplace-solutions environment, with strong guidance from experienced colleagues and exposure to pricing tools and cross-functional projects.

Qualificações

• 3rd year Bachelor student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Interest in operations, project management, and process improvement.
• Analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive with willingness to learn and initiative.
• Good communicator with stakeholder management.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Experience with process mapping tools or Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
• Available full-time from February 2027 for 5–6 months.

What To Expect During Your Internship

As part of the Purchasing & Assortment department, you’ll join a team that plays a central role in managing product categories and shaping pricing strategies. Within this environment, the Pricing team focuses on building competitive pricing approaches and ensuring accurate online pricing across markets. In this role, you’ll contribute to analysing and optimizing how our business operates. You’ll map and clearly document operational processes, collaborate with stakeholders across departments, and identify opportunities to streamline and improve the way we work. It’s a hands-on experience for someone who enjoys understanding how systems function, spotting ways to enhance them, and turning ideas into measurable results.

Your Profile

• You are a 3 rd year Bachelor student studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• You have a keen interest in operations, project management, and process improvement
• You have excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• You are proactive with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• You are a good communicator and know how to manage relationships with different stakeholders
• You have good spoken and written English skills
• Ideally, you already have experience with process mapping tools or Lean/Six Sigma concepts
• You are available full-time from February 2027 for a duration of 5-6 months
