Job summary

Hunkemöller invites you to join the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) in the Netherlands starting February 2027 for a 5-month program. You will work on global social media ads, learn to set up and evaluate campaigns, and help develop creative assets while gaining hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting.

You'll be part of a collaborative, inclusive team with buddy support, home-working options up to 2 days per week, and an internship allowance of 450€ per month plus travel and staff

• Bachelor/HBO/WO level studies focused on marketing/communication with early semesters completed.
• Fluent English language skills.

• Assist in managing advertisements on global social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
• Assist in setting up, optimizing and evaluating social and paid media campaigns.
• Work on projects to create content, new ad formats, and monitor/report results.
• Develop and design creative assets for paid social campaigns.
• Support daily social media and media channel activities.

YOUR TASKS

• Assist in managing advertisements on our socials channels Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest on a global level
• Assist in setting up, optimizing and evaluating social media and other paid media campaigns
• Working on different projects to add new content, think of new advertising formats and help in monitoring, analyzing the results and creating reports
• Developing and designing creative assets for paid social campaigns
• Furthermore you will be involved in the daily tasks of the department to understand and support the social media and other media channel activities

About you!

• You have a strong interest and knowledge in communications, marketing, and digital marketing
• In your Bachelor/HBO/WO level studies with the focus on marketing/communication you already finished your first semesters
• Fluent English language skills
• You are a team player, you love multi tasking and variety
• Interested in data, not a stranger to numbers and eager to learn more about data analysis
• No thesis possible in this role
• You’re available for at least 32 hours/week

• Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.
• Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

Eligibility Criteria

For This Internship, You Need To Be Available For 5 Months Starting In February 2027. Please Note That Your Application Will Only Be Considered If You Are Enrolled At a School Or University For The Full Duration Of The Internship. Additionally, To Comply With Dutch Law, One Of The Following Must Apply

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
