Job summary

Gisou by Negin Mirsalehi is offering a Marketing Internship to contribute to Gisou’s international growth. You will support a wide range of marketing activations, gain hands‑on experience, and collaborate with a creative team in a fast-paced beauty startup environment.

The role involves assisting in trend tracking, competitive positioning, campaign support, content creation, data analytics, and day-to-day marketing operations.

Qualifications

• Studying Marketing/Communications/Commercial Economics or related field.
• Strong interest in marketing and beauty industry.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of marketing mix theories.

Responsibilities

• Track beauty trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities.
• Research competitor pricing, benefits, and messaging for testing briefs.
• Assist in developing and executing global brand campaigns across channels.
• Support creation of campaign messaging, PDP briefs, paid ads, and storytelling.
• Monitor campaign and sales performance and derive actionable insights.
• Support daily marketing operations including asset organization and sampling.

About The Role

As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Gisou’s international growth by supporting a wide range of marketing activations. You’ll gain valuable insights into the beauty industry, develop hands‑on experience, and work closely with the team in a collaborative and creative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Trend & Market Insights: Track beauty trends, competitor launches and consumer insights to identify emerging opportunities that keep us on relevant while staying true to our roots.
• Competitive Positioning: Research competitor pricing, key benefits, claims and positioning to support with messaging and product testing briefs.
• Campaign Support: Assist in developing and executing global brand campaigns that resonate and inspire across digital, social, PR, retail, and experiential channels.
• Content & Copywriting: Support the creation of campaign messaging, PDP briefs, paid ad creation and product storytelling.
• Performance & Analytics: Monitor campaign and sales performance, turning data into insights and actionable recommendations.
• Marketing Operations: Support daily team operations including asset organization, product testing, sampling and occasional shipping.

Skills & Qualifications

• You are following a Marketing / Communication / Commercial Economics related study.
• You have a passion for marketing and beauty.
• You speak and write fluent English.
• You have an understanding of marketing mix and theories.
• Team player with a creative mindset.
• Go-doer, go-getter attitude to work in a past paced start-up environment.

Requirements

• Available to complete the Internship Programme from Mon 1st Feb 2027 - Wed 4th Aug 2027.
• You must be looking for a FULL-TIME & ONSITE internship for 5 months.
• You must have an Internship contract from your School / University and the internship must be integrated into your program of study.
• Available for 5 days per week, from which 4 days on‑site in the Amsterdam office.
