Job summary

Gisou is seeking a Digital Design Intern in Amsterdam to join the Digital Design Team. You will craft digital assets for CRM, Gisou.com, retailer sites, and mobile apps, while collaborating with online and creative specialists.

You will design branded email communications, assist with product launch concepts, and refine creative assets for optimal channel performance, contributing to a fast-paced beauty-brand environment.

Qualifications

• Student in Graphic / Creative / Digital Media Design or related field.
• Proficiency with standard digital design tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Interest in digital design thinking and web production techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt digital assets for CRM, Gisou.com, retailer sites and apps.
• Design branded emails for CRM campaigns and programs.
• Support development of digital concepts for product launches and campaigns.
• Adapt assets for channel requirements based on insights and best practices.
• Contribute to Gisou.com UX research, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Research current design trends and bring new ideas to the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

At Gisou, exciting times are ahead. As a fast-growing company we are ready to take on more projects that we are very enthusiastic about. To make those projects happen, we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Digital Design Intern that will assist our Digital Design Team. In this role, you will be assisting on designing a wide variety of digital assets in close collaboration with online and creative specialists.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Create and adapt digital assets, including static and video content, across CRM, Gisou.com, retailer websites and mobile apps.

• Design branded email communications for CRM campaigns and programs.

• Support the development and execution of digital concepts for product launches, campaigns and promotional activations.

• Adapt and optimize creative assets based on channel requirements, performance insights and best practices.

• Support the continuous improvement of the Gisou.com experience through user research, UX analysis, feature ideation and testing.

• Translate ideas and requirements into user flows, sketches, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.

• Research digital, e-commerce and design trends, bringing relevant inspiration and new ideas into the team.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• You are following a Graphic / Creative / Digital Media Design study.

• Knowledge of standard (digital) design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop also Adobe Premier and After Effects would be a plus.

• Personal interest in the digital design thinking process.

• Knowledge of, or personal interest for current digital design best practices and web production techniques is a plus.

• Photo and video editing skills.

• Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Available to complete the Internship Programme from Mon 1st Feb 2027 - Wed 4th August 2027.

• You must be looking for a FULL-TIME & ONSITE internship for 6 months.

• You must have an Internship contract from your School / University and the internship must be integrated into your program of study.

• Available for 5 days per week, from which 4 days on-site in the Amsterdam office.

• This internship is compensated (€450 per month).

• 1 day of remote working per week.
