Job description

Create new products and ensure we continue to woo our customers in their quest for soulful living! Category management at it's best. Are you ready to join and give your all?

Share your talents

Are you structured, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data and digital systems? Do you enjoy bringing order to large amounts of information and making sure every detail is correct?

As our Packaging Data Intern, you will join our Product Data & Process team and support the day-to-day management of packaging data. A significant part of your role will be hands-on data entry. You will create, enter, update and validate packaging information in Centric, our PLM system, process supplier data and make sure information is complete and accurate.

You will also work closely with suppliers and our R&D Packaging Developers to collect missing information and keep data requests moving. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy accuracy, structure and getting things done, while gaining hands‑on experience in how packaging, product development, suppliers and data come together within an international R&D environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Entering, updating and maintaining packaging information in Centric, ensuring large volumes of data are complete, consistent and accurately captured.
  • Creating and managing requests for packaging Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Packaging Specification Data Sheets.
  • Processing packaging information received from suppliers and following up when information is missing or unclear.
  • Communicating directly with packaging and full-service suppliers about outstanding data requests, reminders and practical questions.
  • Performing initial data quality checks and identifying missing information or inconsistencies, while coordinating more technical questions with our R&D Packaging Developers.
  • Maintaining a clear overview of open packaging data requests, their status and required follow-up.
  • Identifying opportunities to make repetitive data processes simpler, faster and more accurate once you become familiar with our systems and ways of working.
What You Will Learn

This is a strongly operational role, but you will also get the opportunity to work directly within an international product development environment. You will gain practical experience in:

  • Product and packaging data management.
  • Working with PLM systems such as Centric.
  • Packaging Bills of Materials and specification data.
  • Data quality and validation.
  • Supplier communication and follow-up.
  • R&D and product development processes.
  • Cross‑functional stakeholder collaboration.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve data processes.

You will see first‑hand how accurate packaging data supports successful product development and wider business processes.

Bring all of you

You enjoy working with data and structured administrative tasks and understand that a significant part of this role consists of hands‑on data entry. You have a strong eye for detail and take satisfaction in making sure information is correct, complete and properly maintained.

On Top Of That, You
  • Are currently pursuing an HBO or WO degree, for example in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering & Management, Business Technology, Data Management or a related field. *Please note we can only accept applications from candidates who are actively enrolled in their study for the full duration of their internship.
  • Are comfortable processing large volumes of information while staying focused and accurate.
  • Are comfortable with repetitive tasks and enjoy bringing structure to data, systems and processes.
  • Take ownership and proactively follow up when information is missing.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with both colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Have an affinity with digital systems and are comfortable using tools such as Excel, SharePoint and workflow systems.
  • Are curious about the bigger picture while also being happy to roll up your sleeves and take care of day‑to‑day data work.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Experience with Centric or another PLM system is a plus, but not required.

At Rituals, we are committed to care for everyone and strive to create a diverse workplace where all employees belong and have equal opportunities to succeed. Read more about our commitment here Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Rituals (NL)
