Share your talents

As an intern within the Sustainability Team, you will support the development, implementation and reporting of Rituals' sustainability strategy. Your primary focus will be supporting environmental reporting processes, with a particular emphasis on carbon data collection, analysis and reporting. At Rituals, sustainability and impact are one of the strategic pillars of the brand. It is our role to translate societal developments, stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements into a practical and ambitious business strategy. In addition to supporting carbon and non-financial reporting, you will contribute to a range of sustainability projects across the full strategy cycle, from topic research and strategy development through to implementation tracking, stakeholder engagement and reporting. Topics may include climate, waste, circularity, biodiversity, human rights and B Corp certification. Depending on business priorities, you may also support selected impact-related initiatives, including ad-hoc support for Rituals' 10% Profit Pledge and related activities. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, including Innovation, Sourcing, Quality & Regulatory, Logistics, Retail Operations, Finance, Internal Control and People & Culture.

YOUR ROLE

You will report to the Senior Sustainability Manager and interact regularly with local and middle management across the business. Your primary focus will be supporting the collection, management and analysis of sustainability data, particularly for Rituals' carbon footprint and environmental reporting activities. Alongside this, you will provide project management and coordination support across a range of sustainability initiatives and strategic priorities. You will help coordinate actions, track deliverables, prepare presentations and reports, support stakeholder engagement and contribute to the successful execution of sustainability projects throughout the year. In addition, you may provide coordination and administrative support for impact-related initiatives, including the 10% Profit Pledge, depending on business needs and team priorities. Through this role, you will gain exposure to sustainability strategy development, ESG reporting, certification programs, impact partnerships, regulatory developments and project management within a fast-growing international company.

Your Accountabilities
  • Support carbon footprint data collection, validation, analysis and reporting activities.
  • Collect, structure and improve sustainability and environmental data across different business functions.
  • Support project management and coordination of sustainability initiatives, including tracking actions, timelines and stakeholder inputs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Rituals' sustainability strategy across topics such as climate, waste, circularity, biodiversity and human rights.
  • Support sustainability reporting and regulatory readiness activities, including CSRD-related processes.
  • Support Rituals' B Corp certification journey, including preparation for surveillance audits and future recertification requirements.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on sustainability trends, best practices and emerging regulations.
  • Build presentations, reporting materials and communication content to support internal decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in the internship challenge.
