Job summary

West Coast Supply Group is offering a commercial internship in Leiden. You will be part of a close team supporting the commercial business, going through the same induction as our commercial staff, and learning to manage the order book and client accounts.

You will gain hands-on experience in proposals, CRM updates, market research, and campaign coordination while contributing to growth in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications

• You are enrolled at a Dutch educational institution for the entire placement.
• Your maximum journey time to Leiden or Hoofddorp is 60 minutes door-to-door.
• You write and speak English; other languages are a plus.
• You are flexible, accurate and proactive.
• You study logistics, supply chain or international business (MBO/HBO).

Responsibilities

• Take real responsibility from day one by handling actual client accounts and deals.
• Manage the sales pipeline by preparing commercial proposals, updating CRM records, and supporting daily administrative tasks.
• Research market trends and analyze competitors to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
• Coordinate sales campaigns and work with marketing and logistics teams to ensure smooth client delivery.
• Make a tangible impact on West Coast Supply Group's growth through hands-on work that shapes our bottom line.

As a Commercial intern, you will go through the same induction process as our Commercial employees. The goal is to teach you as much as possible.

As our intern you make sure that everything runs smoothly. You are part of a close team that supports our commercial business.

You will learn how to manage the order book with everything that come with it such as:

1. Take real responsibility from day one this is not a coffee-making internship; you will step up to handle actual client accounts and deals;

2. Manage the sales pipeline by preparing commercial proposals, updating CRM records, and supporting daily administrative tasks;

4. Coordinate sales campaigns and work closely with the marketing and logistics teams to ensure smooth client delivery;
