Job summary

The Hoxton Amsterdam is seeking an enthusiastic F&B Management Intern to support Breman Brasserie, event spaces and kitchen operations. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Director, gaining hands-on experience across service, events and menu development.

Starting January 2027, this full-time internship offers a practical blend of operations, administration and creative projects, with mentoring, a monthly stipend, free meals during shifts and staff discounts within The Hoxton and

• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Dutch is a bonus.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food & Beverage Director with day-to-day operations of Breman Brasserie, event spaces and kitchen operations.

• Help create and update SOPs for smooth, consistent operations.
• Assist with staff planning, scheduling and monitoring labour costs.
• Coordinate events with F&B and Events teams, manage inventories and purchasing processes.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on F&B Management Intern to join our team and support our Food & Beverage Director across all areas of the operation. This is an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a dynamic F&B department, combining operational experience with administrative responsibilities, creative projects and team collaboration.

Job Description
What you'll do...

• Support the Food & Beverage Director with the day-to-day running of Breman Brasserie, our event spaces and kitchen operations.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, reporting and other projects across the F&B department.
• Support the operational teams during busy services, events or when extra hands are needed.
• Help create, update and implement SOPs to ensure smooth and consistent operations.
• Assist managers with staff planning, scheduling and monitoring labour costs.
• Support the planning and coordination of events, working closely with the F&B and Events team.
• Help manage inventories, stock levels, uniforms and purchasing processes.
• Assist with creating and updating menus, food and drink bibles, collateral and other F&B materials.
• Collect and analyse guest feedback from platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor, helping the team turn insights into action.
• Prepare reports and gather information to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in team briefings, tastings, training sessions and end-of-month inventories.
• Support F&B projects from start to finish, bringing fresh ideas and helping turn them into reality.
• Work closely with the restaurant, events and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless guest experience across all F&B outlets.

Qualifications

• A student of Hospitality Management or a similar field, ready to turn theory into practice.
• Available for a full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a bonus.
