Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Global FP&A Intern in the Amsterdam area to support weekly volume and sales tracking, CAPEX data collection, and monthly financial reporting across Global Supply. You will help develop Power BI dashboards and collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing and Engineering teams.

The role offers a 6‑month internship (Sept 2026–Feb 2027) with a 525€ monthly allowance and the possibility to work remotely up to two weeks within Europe.

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled in a Master’s program for the internship duration (Sept 2026–Feb 2027).
  • Strong MS Office skills and proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience in the food & beverage industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in data analytics tools; Power BI and Power Query are strong assets.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and provide weekly updates on volume and sales tracking.
  • Assist in monthly CAPEX data collection, validation and facilitation.
  • Support monthly reporting and variance analysis of Global Supply results.
  • Help prepare market reports and leadership presentations.
  • Assist with global consolidation and forecast (LE) and AOP processes.

Job description

For this role as a Global FP&A Intern you will:

  • Understand and provide weekly updates about the volume & sales tracking.
  • Support and continuously improve the process of collection, validation, and facilitation of monthly Capital Expenditure Requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support monthly reporting and variance analysis of Global Supply results.
  • Support the preparation of market reports and management presentations to the Leadership Team.
  • Support the global consolidation and validation of monthly/quarterly forecast (LE) and annual operating plan (AOP).
  • Support the automation and standardization of recurring reports and analyses, including the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within Global FP&A, Supply Finance, Business Control, Manufacturing and Engineering to gain business insights, improve data quality, and enhance reporting processes.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding the Coffee & Tea business, learning insights for specific markets based on geography and business model, understanding the overall financial reporting process (Actual reporting, Annual Operating Plan, Value Creation Plan), learning the PEC (Period end closing) and Forecasting process within company, stakeholder management.
  • Month End Closing Support / Supporting FP&A team on deliverables during month end closing.
  • Reports Improvements/Automation/Improvement ideas on deliverables, automation for excel/ppt based reports.
  • Team Meetings & Engagement / Participating team events, communication within Global FP&A team and stakeholder management.

  • Education: You are enrolled in a Master’s program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics.
  • Skillset: Youpossessstrong MS Office skills and proficiencyin speaking and written English. Having hands‑on experience with food & beverage industry is a plus.Proficiency in data analytics tools, such as Power BI, Power Query, is a strong plus.
  • Personality: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Availability: You can commit 5 days a week during 6 months of the internship (September 2026-February 2027).We offer you the opportunity to work 3-4days in office and 1-2 days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

Please ensure you also meet the eligibility criteria and academic requirements:

  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
