Job summary

Refresco is seeking an interim Team Lead SAP to guide the application landscape across European Supply Chain and Planning. You will lead the internal application team, coordinate with external partners and ensure continuity of operations while driving transformational initiatives.

You will own SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, Transporeon and related systems, aligning business needs with technology solutions and delivering enhancements with defined plans and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SAP application consulting or a comparable role.
• Experience leading a team in SAP/SC environments.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal application team and external specialists, setting clear priorities, coordinating resources and fostering ownership, collaboration and effective delivery.
• Act as the primary IT partner for Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Commercial teams, translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Own the application and integration landscape across SAP S/4HANA, Kinaxis, Transporeon, yard management, order-intake, customer and warehouse systems, ensuring stability, performance and continuity.
• Guide the delivery of enhancements and transformation projects, reviewing solution designs, functional specifications, testing approaches and implementation plans with internal teams and implementation partners.
• Oversee service delivery, incidents and escalations, and support business adoption through testing, training, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve standardisation and strengthen the overall performance and maintainability of the application landscape.

Why this assignment?

Refresco is looking for an interim Team Lead SAP to provide leadership and continuity across its European Supply Chain and Planning application landscape. This business-critical environment supports processes including demand and supply planning, customer order management, transportation, logistics execution and manufacturing.

You will provide direction to the application team, maintain stable day-to-day operations and drive the delivery of ongoing enhancements and transformation initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external partners, you will help ensure that priorities are clear and solutions are delivered effectively.

The core assignment

In this project, as our current Team Lead has decided to continue their career elsewhere, we are looking for an interim Team Lead SAP to ensure continuity until a permanent successor is appointed. You will lead the application team, safeguard daily operations and keep ongoing enhancements and transformation initiatives on track.

What you will do

Lead and support the internal application team and external specialists, setting clear priorities, coordinating resources and fostering ownership, collaboration and effective delivery.

Act as the primary IT partner for Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Commercial teams, translating business needs into practical technology solutions.

What you bring

At least 10 years of relevant experience in SAP application consulting or a comparable role, with strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes.

Previous experience successfully leading a team

Hands-on knowledge of SAP Supply Chain solutions, including SAP SD and Logistics Execution, with essential experience in SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with planning platforms such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP or a comparable solution.

Experience managing application enhancements, projects, incidents and external implementation or support partners.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
