Job summary

Investigo is partnering with a global PE-backed media organisation to appoint an Interim Senior Finance Manager to support a major commercial finance transformation programme across Europe.

This is a highly visible role, working directly with senior finance and commercial leadership to drive pricing improvements, discount governance, profitability analysis and performance enhancement initiatives across a regional market.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Proven track record leading transformation/change projects.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis.
• Experience in PE-backed, international environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and discounting controls across your region.
• Drive margin improvements through pricing governance and commercial insight.
• Build profitability, utilisation and EBITDA baselines to support key decisions.
• Analyse large, complex datasets and deliver actionable financial insights.
• Partner with finance, sales and operations to improve commercial performance.
• Support wider transformation initiatives, including incentives and value creation programs.
• Balance programme delivery with budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities.

• Lead the delivery of pricing and discounting controls across your region.
• Drive margin improvement initiatives through enhanced pricing governance and commercial insight.
• Build and validate profitability, utilisation and EBITDA baselines to support key strategic decisions.
• Analyse large, complex datasets and deliver actionable financial insights.
• Partner with finance, sales and operational leaders to improve commercial performance.
• Support wider transformation initiatives, including sales incentives, target setting and value creation programmes.
• Balance programme delivery alongside critical budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong background in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering.
• Proven track record leading transformation, change or project-based workstreams.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence senior finance and commercial leaders.
• Experience within private equity-backed, international or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
