Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in controlling, reporting, accounting, shareholder controlling, or related finance functions.
  • Experience interacting with regional business units and senior management stakeholders.
  • Solid project and process management experience.
  • Experience leading project teams or coordinating virtual, cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of digital finance transformation and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret financial statements and business performance indicators.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the shareholder function towards the management of affiliated companies across Europe.
  • Exercise ownership rights and obligations on behalf of the parent organization.
  • Design, evaluate, and optimize corporate shareholding and legal entity structures.
  • Analyze financial performance, balance sheets, and capital structures.
  • Develop recommendations to improve capital efficiency and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with dividend policies and corporate governance guidelines.
  • Lead and coordinate workstreams within carve-out, integration, merger, liquidation, and corporate restructuring projects.
  • Support M&A-related activities from a shareholder and governance perspective.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of digital processes within the shareholder management function.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, tax, and business stakeholders across multiple countries.

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in shareholder management, corporate governance, and financial analysis? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of finance, strategy, and organizational transformation in an international environment?

We are looking for a Finance Manager (Manager Shareholdings) to play a key role in managing and optimizing a portfolio of affiliated companies across Europe. In this position, you will act as the representative of the shareholder function, safeguarding corporate interests while helping shape the future structure and governance of a complex international organization.

About the Role

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for exercising the rights and obligations associated with legal ownership of affiliated entities within the European region. You will work closely with local management teams and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with shareholder objectives, governance frameworks, and strategic priorities.

In addition, you will contribute to corporate restructuring initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, integration projects, and digital transformation programs within the finance and governance landscape.
