Job summary

International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) in The Hague, Netherlands, seeks an interim HR Officer to provide maternity cover. You will manage contracts, onboarding/offboarding, immigration, and health insurance for HQ and international staff, ensuring smooth HR operations.

The role involves maintaining HR records, coordinating with the immigration provider, and handling payroll-related reimbursements. This is a 40-hour fixed-term position based at INSO HQ in The Hague.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with HR administration.
• Hands-on experience maintaining databases and using Excel for data management and reporting.
• Experience using HRIS systems for onboarding and offboarding.
• English fluency and B1 level Dutch.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.
• Knowledge of Dutch immigration regulations (HSM, 30% Ruling, etc.)
• Experience working for an NGO or international organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts, onboarding and offboarding for staff in the Netherlands and internationally deployed staff.
• Oversee immigration processes and health insurance administration.
• Maintain staff records in the HRIS and SharePoint, organize folders and documentation.
• Register sick leave with the ARBO service provider and manage personnel letters.
• Manage Learning Management Platform administration.
