Job summary

Lepaya is seeking a senior People leader to guide the full People function during an approximately eight‑month maternity cover. You will own strategy and operations across NL, UK, DE and FR, reporting to the CEO and becoming part of the Leadership Team.

A two‑month handover precedes full ownership in December, with a fast-paced, change-ready environment. The role is open to temporary contracts and freelancers, with a hybrid work setup requiring three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Senior HR generalist with multi-country exposure is preferred.
• Knowledge of employment law across NL, UK, DE and FR is required.
• Ability to operate autonomously in an interim leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Run the full People function across multiple countries.
• Lead the team through change and growth in a fast-moving org.
• Develop and execute the 2027 People roadmap (AI Transformation and Ownership Culture).
• Oversee organisation design, workforce planning, compensation and employee relations.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team and CEO to turn strategy into action.
• Support onboarding, career framework updates and upskilling initiatives.
• Manage headcount planning and People cost budgeting for 2027.
