Job summary

European School The Hague is seeking an Integrated Science Teacher for the English section to deliver engaging science lessons to students aged 11–14 within the international European Baccalaureate framework. You will plan safe experiments, foster creativity, and differentiate instruction in a diverse, multicultural setting.

When you work in the ESH's Science Department, you will be part of a multicultural team of passionate teachers delivering lessons across four language sections. What We’re Looking For

• ABachelor’s or Master’sdegree ineitherBiology,ChemistryorPhysics. Your teaching qualifications must meet the Dutch EducationAuthorities'?DUO ?standards.
• Proficiencyin English at a C2 level (CEFR).
• Experience teaching students aged 11–18,ideally in international or intercultural settings.
• Open and positive attitude to long-term feedback (learning never ends).
• Hands-on, proactive approach and ability to differentiate.
• Team player mentality for collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents.
• A creative, inclusive approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
• KnowledgeofadditionalEU languages is an advantage.

• We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO ). The salary is a minimum of €3622 and a maximum of €5520 for a full-time contract on the LB scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
