European School The Hague Secondary is seeking a Lab Assistant for Sciences to support Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Integrated Science in a multicultural setting. You will prepare experiments, test demonstrations and assist teachers with practical lessons while ensuring safety and orderly labs.
The role requires science qualifications, English fluency, ICT skills, and the ability to work both independently and with others in a 0.6 FTE contract.
Working pattern: 0.6 FTE (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Salary indication: minimum €2672 and a maximum of €3610 (scale 6, pro-rata)

When you work in ESH's Science Departments as a lab assistant, you will be part of a multicultural team consisting of four TOAs supporting passionate science teachers in four language sections. We value teamwork and a culture of collaboration in which we are all lifelong learners. Our teachers aim to deliver engaging practical lessons in Biology, Integrated Science, Chemistry and Physics, and need your support to prepare the materials in advance. We are looking for a lab assistant able to support preparing experiments in Biology and Integrated Science, but who can also help in Physics or Chemistry when required.
