Job summary

Progressive, based near Breda, seeks an Installation Engineer to implement, install and commission mechatronic systems and robotic solutions for laboratory automation. You will travel nationally and internationally, serving as the technical contact during installations.

Responsibilities include assembly, on-site support, FAT/SAT, and handover follow-up, with opportunities for growth in an international, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • MBO/HBO level education (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to work.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong technical interest and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Good communication and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Experience with robotics, motion control, or industrial automation is a plus.
  • Affinity with software and hardware integration is a plus.

Job description

As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, installation, and commissioning of innovative mechatronic systems and robotic solutions used in laboratory automation. Based in the Breda region, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and projects, enabling you to successfully install and support systems both nationally and internationally.

In this role, you will regularly travel to customer sites and serve as the technical point of contact during installations and commissioning activities. Thanks to your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will contribute to the reliable performance of the systems and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products and automated systems.

  • Prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
