Job summary

Progressive, based near Breda, seeks an Installation Engineer to implement, install and commission mechatronic systems and robotic solutions for laboratory automation. You will travel nationally and internationally, serving as the technical contact during installations.

Responsibilities include assembly, on-site support, FAT/SAT, and handover follow-up, with opportunities for growth in an international, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO level education (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to work.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong technical interest and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Good communication and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Experience with robotics, motion control, or industrial automation is a plus.
• Affinity with software and hardware integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and automated systems.
• Provide technical support for installed systems and equipment.
• Install and commission projects both in-house and at customer locations.
• Plan and coordinate the build-up and deployment of systems.
• Prepare and execute FAT and SAT.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments.
• Follow up on action items after installation and project handover.
• Support technical investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
