Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Veghel is seeking an experienced mechatronics/electrical engineer to develop electro-mechanical modules, enclosures, and 3D wire harnesses for PLC-controlled systems.

You will integrate hardware and software, define testing strategies, and ensure CE/UL compliance across EN/ISO standards. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with major control platforms (AB Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, SEW) and proficiency in EPlan, Pro Panel, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical systems.
• Direct experience with major industrial control platforms (AB Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, SEW).
• Proficiency with EPlan, Pro Panel (EPLAN 3D), and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, Frequency Inverters, and HMIs.
• Expert grasp of industrial networks (AS-i, Ethernet TCP/IP, ProfiNET, CAN bus, RS-485/Modbus).

• Collaborate with suppliers and support manufacturing readiness.
• Travel occasionally to facilities and project sites to evaluate processes and design improvements.

• Ensure all designs meet functional safety principles, CE/UL standards, and Machine Directives (EN/ISO).
• Collaborate with suppliers on outsourced developments and support manufacturing readiness.
• Travel: Travel occasionally to manufacturing facilities and project sites to evaluate processes and design improvements.

What do we ask from you?

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing complex industrial electro-mechanical systems.
• Hardware Platforms: Direct experience with major industrial control platforms (e.g., A-B/Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, SEW).
• Tech Stack: Proficiency with EPlan, Pro Panel (EPLAN 3D), and AutoCAD is highly preferred.
• Core Components: Strong knowledge and experience with PLCs, Frequency Inverters, and HMIs.
• Protocol(s): Expert grasp of industrial networks (AS-i bus, Ethernet TCP/IP, ProfiNET, CAN bus, RS-485/Modbus).

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4300 to € 5900 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
