Job summary

Rise Technical in the Netherlands (Utrecht area) is seeking a Junior Inside Sales Engineer (Industrial Pumps) to join a global engineering group. You will receive structured onboarding, product training (including sessions at their German site) and ongoing weekly sales training with a buddy to help you settle in and succeed.

The role focuses on supporting account management, preparing quotations and managing orders, with proactive customer contact and a small amount of cold calling.

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch and English language skills are required.
• Commutable to Vleuten/Utrecht area and able to work on-site.

Junior Inside Sales Engineer (Industrial Pumps)

Are you an Inside Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer or graduate with a technical/commercial degree looking for a role where you will be properly trained, supported and given a clear route into field sales? Do you want to join a global engineering business where you can build your sales skills, learn the products properly and develop into a higher-level role over time?

This is a permanent position with a well-established engineering group specialising in industrial pump solutions used across sectors such as water, hygiene, food & beverage and chemical processing. You will receive structured onboarding, product training (including training at their German site), and ongoing weekly sales training, with a buddy system to help you settle in and succeed.

Due to continued growth and their focus on increasing sales performance this year, they are looking to add to their inside sales team in the Netherlands. You will be joining a collaborative environment where you will work closely with experienced colleagues and the external sales team on larger deals.

In this role you will support account management, prepare quotations and manage orders, while also developing confidence with proactive customer contact (including a small amount of cold calling). You’ll build your technical understanding and commercial awareness, helping to identify opportunities within your customer base.

This role would suit a junior inside sales professional or graduate (business/technical degree) who speaks Dutch and English, and wants training, support and a clear progression pathway into Business Development or Field Sales.

The Role:

• Inside sales support: quotations, orders and proactive customer contact
• Work closely with external sales on larger opportunities
• Develop product/application knowledge through structured training and mentoring
• Small amount of cold calling (around 10%) alongside account management

The Person:

• Degree (business/technical) and/or some inside sales experience (mechanical/industrial ideal)
• Fluent Dutch and English (Dutch required)
• Commutable to Vleuten / Utrecht area
