Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Utrecht is offering a New Product Development Intern position starting in March 2027. You will conduct a self-directed research project on coffee recipe development and support tastings, new recipe development and shelf-life analyses.

You must be enrolled in a master’s program in Food Science or related field, possess strong MS Office skills and excellent English, and commit to five months with four days in-office and one day remotely.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master’s program for the duration of the internship.
• Strong MS Office skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
• Hands-on experience in food research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute your own research project on recipe development in coffee (black or milk-based).
• Assist with tastings, new recipe development and shelf-life analyses.
• Organize tastings and contribute to SOPs and process knowledge capture.
• Deliver presentations on findings and final project results.
