Job summary

Refresco in the Netherlands is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to oversee the day-to-day server and infrastructure operations across Europe, ensuring stability and security of critical systems.

You will coordinate maintenance, drive standardization and improvements, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors across multiple locations, applying ITIL-based processes and strong troubleshooting to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations or system administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor server, virtualization, storage, and operating system environments.
• Coordinate incident, problem, and maintenance activities to ensure service availability.
• Manage patching, upgrades, lifecycle, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Support capacity, performance, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with local IT teams, cybersecurity specialists, vendors, and other IT teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.
