Job summary

Vector Synergy in The Hague, the Netherlands, seeks an experienced infrastructure professional to contribute to the design, engineering, implementation, operation, and integration of Infrastructure Hosting Services. You will work closely with engineers and NISC IaaS SDMs to deliver reliable, scalable hosting solutions.

Post-course requirements include MSc or BSc with substantial post-related experience, plus hands-on SAN/NAS expertise, AD/Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization certifications

Qualifications

• Master of Science (MSc) degree from a nationally recognized university in a related subject with at least 5 years of post-related experience OR Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from a nationally recognized university in a related subject with at least 7 years of post-related experience.
• Practical experience with SAN/NAS network fundamentals (TCP/IP, FC, FCoE, iSCSI, WWN, WWNP, LIFs) and SAN, unified, and NAS storage systems.
• Practical experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux (Red Hat).
• Training and industry certification on virtualization e.g. VCP.
• CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA certification.
• DataCenter certification.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Senior Technicians, Engineers, and NISC IaaS SDMs in all activities related to the design, engineering, implementation, operation, and integration of Infrastructure Hosting Services.
• Monitoring and performing daily physical checks of data centre hardware and other equipment.
• Performing troubleshooting activities in the data centre, identifying issues, and assisting in their timely resolution while maintaining proper records of work operations and events.
