Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced OT Network Engineer – Industrial Automation to design, configure, commission and maintain industrial networks across machinery and production environments.

You will work with Automation, Electrical, Controls, IT and Service teams to ensure networks are reliable, secure, and scalable, supporting PLCs, HMIs, robots, and sensors. Strong OT networking knowledge and diagnostic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience with OT/industrial automation networks.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and OPC UA.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, commission, and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet and OT networks used in automated machinery and production systems.
• Configure and maintain industrial network switches, VLANs, port configuration and QoS.
• Configure and troubleshoot network interfaces on PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs, robots, drives, and other equipment.
• Diagnose network issues using tools such as packet captures, ping, traceroute and network monitoring.
