Job summary
Cisco is seeking a highly motivated Solution Engineer to join our Industrial IoT team in EMEA. In this pre-sales role, you will partner with Account Executives to design, present, and demonstrate Cisco's solutions, building bills of materials and running proofs of concept for customers across industries.
You will own the technical plan for your territory, develop the digitization journey with customers, and contribute to industry solutions with portfolio SEs and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s encouraged.
- 5+ years of industry-related experience in Industrial IoT and pre-sales.
- Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and architectures (Purdue model).
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and leading demos.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical plan for territory aligned with the EA.
- Deliver demos, PoCs, and value messaging to customers.
- Design architectures with portfolio SEs and partners.
- Educate teams on key solutions and industry use cases.
- Support RFP responses with competitive technical content.
- Lead workshops and enablement across EMEA.
