Job summary

The Indoor Sales Specialist role focuses on developing customer relationships, supporting Sales Executives, Tender Desk and overseas colleagues with quotations, and ensuring a smooth handover between sales and operations.

You will engage with customers and internal stakeholders across regions, secure competitive pricing, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as Indoor Sales Specialist in a 3PL environment with ocean and air pricing experience.
• Strong fighter mentality to ensure the best solutions, rates and capacity are in place.
• Strong communication skills to work with colleagues across continents to implement new customers and roll out proposed solutions in a timely and effective manner.
• A strong sense of organizational skills to prioritize inquiries and deliver detailed and accurate results.

About the role:

As Indoor Sales Specialist; you develop relationships with our customers to the next level; you support our Sales Executives, Tender Desk and Overseas Colleagues with preparing quotations; and you are the bridge between the sales and operational departments ensuring a smooth transition of customer requirements in the day-to-day execution of shipments.

In performing this role, you are engaging directly with customers and internal stakeholders across departments and regions. You ensure that offers consist of the best options against the best pricing. You ensure that all inquiries are handled quickly to ensure a maximum success rate. Most importantly, you are eager to grow together with customers by driving continuous improvements.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience as Indoor Sales Specialist in a 3PL environment with ocean and air pricing experience. We also welcome candidates with a strong operational background in different modalities that would like to step into a commercial role.
• A fighter mentality to ensure the best solutions, rates and capacity are in place. You love to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to make this happen.
