Job summary

Ad Idem Consulting, on behalf of a global FMCG client, is seeking an entrepreneurial Procurement Manager to join its Logistics Procurement team in Amsterdam. You will lead six warehouses across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, drive sourcing strategy, manage international supplier relationships, and oversee freight-in/out and ocean freight.

Requirements include a bachelor or master in Procurement/Logistics, 5+ years' supply chain experience, fluency in English, and willingness to travel ~20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics is an advantage.
• 5+ years' experience in supply chain, warehousing or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage international supplier relationships.
• Oversee freight-in, freight-out and ocean freight categories.
• Lead procurement tenders from strategy through to negotiation.
• Develop sourcing and contracting strategy and track cost drivers.
