Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Category Manager to oversee supplier relationships and sourcing across Europe, driving efficiency, cost control, and service excellence.

You will collaborate with internal teams and strategic suppliers to manage risks, analyze costs, and support growth through data-driven decisions.

Role requires cross-country experience, a bachelor’s degree, and fluent English; beneficial German/Dutch/French/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Clear, concise, and impactful messages to Sales Leaders and executives.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and suppliers across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage Packsize corrugated board suppliers - negotiate price, terms, and contracts.
• Manage suppliers of glue, tape, and labels used in packaging.
• Analyze supply chain costs to reduce landed costs for each customer.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Develop Supply Chain solutions to resolve Customer Operations challenges.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies with Account Managers.
• Use BI tools to generate insights and create reports.
• Create volume forecasts by region and by supplier.
• Lead Quarterly Board Reviews with supplier executives.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to implement service and delivery solutions.
• Update quarterly corrugated costs using the paper index.
• Prepare for peak demand surges by identifying supply risks.
