Job summary

Merry Gold, an Asian restaurant in Roden, Netherlands, is seeking an Independent Working Chef Level I to join our kitchen team. The chef will manage food preparation and ensure quality and hygiene while collaborating with a team. Training and flexible schedules are offered, along with free accommodations and a gross salary of €2,750 to €3,250.

Qualifications

Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

Select and prepare ingredients for dishes.
Conduct checks on food quality and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
Supervise kitchen assistants and make corrections as needed.
Manage stock levels and orders.
Clean kitchen equipment and workstations daily.
Report technical faults and resolve minor issues.
Provide input on menus and working methods.
