Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a leading fintech organization to appoint an Incident Operations Lead based in the Netherlands. You will build and lead the function responsible for the most critical incidents across a complex global tech environment, establishing severity, escalation, and 24x7 coverage across APAC, EMEA, and AMER while coordinating with engineering and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production engineering, SRE, or technical operations.
• Proven hands-on experience commanding high-severity incidents.
• Experience building incident command or major-incident management.
• Experience designing severity models, escalation frameworks, governance.
• Able to lead distributed teams across time zones with 24x7 on-call.
• Strong influence with stakeholders and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Incident Operations function for major incidents.
• Establish 24x7 follow-the-sun rotation across regions.
• Run game days, simulations, and certification programs for responders.
• Maintain incident severity models and escalation criteria.
• Coordinate engineering and support teams with clear incident updates.
• Drive post-incident retrospectives and follow-ups to resolve actions.
