Job summary

PSA BDP in Rotterdam (Netherlands) seeks an experienced Logistics Clerk for ocean import operations. You will plan, book, and coordinate shipments, and manage end-to-end order processing.

The role requires 2–3 years in ocean imports and 1–3 years in customer service, with Dutch and English fluency, strong communication, and teamwork. College degree preferred but not required; MS Office proficiency is expected.

• Planning / Booking / Transportation of Ocean Import orders
• Coordination/follow up of the shipment - order processing management
• Customs processing (preparing import documents for customs )
• Documentation/administration/invoicing / filing
• Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means
• Operational troubleshooting
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
• Cooperation with approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates
• End to end processing
• Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation

Job Requirements

• The ideal candidate has two (2) to three (3) years of experience handling ocean import shipment
• Prefer at least one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a customer service type environment.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English is mandatory
• Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
• Candidate must possess a strong team work attitude.
• Candidate must be PC literate with MS Office applications.
