Job summary

Huisman is seeking an Expeditor at its Schiedam site to monitor supplier progress and ensure timely deliveries. You will act as the ears, eyes, and voice of Huisman, visiting suppliers when needed and reporting back with reliable information for the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and project coordination is beneficial.
• Strong English communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with internal stakeholders such as Engineering and QC for deadlines and external visits.
• Monitoring the progress of procured goods and services, in accordance with the purchase order.
• Ensuring delivery is in line with agreements, pushing and escalating when the project requires it.
• Maintaining a proactive approach to ensure timely delivery and avoid surprises.
