Job summary

IQSIGHT, part of the Keenfinity Group, seeks an experienced Imaging Lead Engineer to bridge optics, ISP, AI-based image enhancement, and real-time imaging performance.

You will work with imaging engineers, optical modules, silicon vendors, and external suppliers to deliver world-class imaging solutions, lead architecture reviews, and mentor teams. Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Imaging Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands‑on engineering contributions across the complete imaging pipeline. You will play a key role in bridging optics, ISP, AI‑based image enhancement, and image quality optimization, ensuring the delivery of world‑class imaging solutions.

This position combines system architecture, algorithm integration, technical coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work closely with imaging engineers, optical module teams, silicon vendors, and external suppliers to bring innovative imaging technologies into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Characterize and evaluate ISP capabilities, limitations, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance on the architecture and evolution of the imaging software stack built on top of third‑party SDKs.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture documents, design specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Develop rapid prototypes, scripts, test frameworks, and validation pipelines to assess new imaging concepts.
• Evaluate emerging imaging technologies and AI‑driven enhancements.
• Translate innovative concepts into practical engineering solutions.

Integration & Performance Optimization

• Lead the integration and customization of vendor‑provided camera SDKs and imaging frameworks.
• Drive low‑level software integration activities, including sensor bring‑up, ISP feature enablement, camera control loops, and performance optimization.
• Lead the integration of classical ISP algorithms, AI‑based image enhancement solutions, and post‑processing functions into a unified real‑time imaging pipeline.
• Identify and resolve complex image quality, system integration, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of imaging solutions.

Technical Reviews & Engineering Excellence

• Conduct design reviews, architecture reviews, and code (PR) reviews.
• Support engineers through hands‑on troubleshooting, debugging, and pair programming.
• Drive software engineering best practices and technical quality standards.

Coaching & Technical Leadership

• Mentor and coach imaging engineers to accelerate their technical growth.
• Organize technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the technical link between optical module teams and imaging software teams.
• Align requirements, technical solutions, and development priorities across disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with product management, hardware teams, and system architects.
• Lead technical discussions with external suppliers and technology partners.
• Drive issue resolution, technical alignment, and successful integration of supplier technologies.
• Evaluate supplier roadmaps and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in imaging systems, ISP development,image processing.
• Strong understanding of camera imaging pipelines, image quality tuning, and ISP architectures.
• Experience integrating image processing algorithms into embedded or real‑time systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for prototyping and algorithm development.
• Experience with technical leadership, architecture design, and mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred

• Experience with AI/ML‑based image enhancement techniques.
• Knowledge of camera sensors, optics, and optical characterization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for embedded systems.
• Experience working with external technology suppliers and partners.
