Job summary

NOV is seeking a Hydraulic Assembler to assemble and test hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to drawings and work instructions. You will work within a production cell, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include functional testing, quality inspections, documenting hours, and maintaining a safe workspace. Experienced assemblers may guide junior colleagues, contributing to NOV's operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have technical vocational education (MBO) or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• Experience assembling hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure quality and performance.
• Inspect components and verify materials, parts, and documentation before assembly.
• Interpret technical drawings and determine the assembly sequence and methods.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild defective components as required.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed assemblies and cross-check colleagues' work when needed.
• Record working hours and complete production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced assemblers when assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Technical vocational education (MBO) or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role.
• Experience assembling hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use standard assembly and measuring tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and functional testing skills.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
