Job summary

Motus People seeks an Assembly Technician to join a high‑tech manufacturing environment. You will independently assemble and test complex machines, systems and modules in a controlled cleanroom, using precision mechanical, drive, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic components.

You will work from technical drawings and instructions, ensure quality, resolve faults, and contribute to process improvements, with Dutch and English communication in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar assembly position.
• Experience with mechanical/electromechanical systems and production/assembly processes.
• Able to work from technical drawings and work instructions.
• Good Dutch and English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Independently assemble complex machines, systems and modules based on technical drawings and written or verbal work instructions.
• Assemble and adjust mechanical and electronic components.
• Test completed machines, systems and modules.
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical faults.
• Maintain and improve the quality of the assembly process.

Job description

Are you an experienced Assembly Technician looking for a challenging position within a high-tech manufacturing environment? In this role, you will be responsible for the independent assembly and testing of complex machines, systems and modules.

You will work in a controlled cleanroom environment, assembling products that consist of a wide variety of precision mechanical, drive technology, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components.

The role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging products while further developing your skills within a professional high-tech organization.

Your responsibilities

• Independently assemble complex machines, systems and modules based on technical drawings and written or verbal work instructions
• Assemble and adjust mechanical and electronic components
• Perform assembly work on both serial products and single-unit systems
• Independently test completed machines, systems and modules
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical faults
• Adjust and fine-tune assembled components and systems
• Work according to applicable health, safety and environmental regulations
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of the assembly process

Your profile

• MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar assembly position
• Additional technical training or relevant courses are an advantage
• Strong knowledge and experience of production and assembly processes
• Able to work independently from technical drawings and work instructions
• Experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical systems
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Accurate, technically minded and comfortable working in a high-tech environment
