Job summary

Karsten International is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure optimal stock at our Amsterdam fulfilment centres. You translate demand into effective inventory plans, balancing availability and cost, by combining forecasts, historical data and market insights.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, E-commerce, Project Management and Finance, lead demand reviews, and support peak periods while maintaining accuracy and flexibility.

Qualifications

• HBO/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with demand planning, forecasting and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Understanding of warehouse and logistics processes with cost awareness.
• Accurate, structured and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance and Logistics.
• Experience with ADR regulations, HS codes and import processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and replenishment for fulfilment centres.
• Analyse demand patterns and market data to forecast.
• Translate forecasts into inventory plans with other teams.
• Identify supply chain risks and propose actions.
• Coordinate with logistics to move products efficiently.
• Lead regular demand reviews and adjust plans as needed.
• Support logistics during peak periods.
