Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a hybrid role, averaging 2 days per week in an HPE office. You will design, implement, and support data center networking using Juniper technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and partners.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in data center routing/switching, Python scripting, and strong English communication. Travel up to 10% may be required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in data center routing, switching and network architecture.
• Proficient in Python scripting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for HPE data center networking; design, troubleshoot, test, document, and automate.
• Provide primary technical support for break/fix activities with advanced diagnostics.
• Advise on Junos configurations and network design best practices.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and external development partners.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and provide feedback to improve product quality.
• Contribute engineering leadership to cross-organizational projects.
• Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into projects and designs.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members.
