Job summary

DCAI is seeking a Senior Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support the commissioning of a major 200 MW electrolyser facility in the Netherlands. The assignment covers pre-commissioning, energisation, functional testing and grid integration of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.

You will lead the cold and hot commissioning of HV GIS switchgear and supervise testing of main power transformers, while coordinating earthing, protection and regulatory activities to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' hands-on electrical commissioning experience.
• Expert knowledge of HV and MV systems and GIS switchgear.
• Experience with high-voltage substations, transformers and protection systems.
• Strong grid integration and energisation procedures.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors on large projects.
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cold and hot commissioning of HV GIS switchgear.
• Supervise testing and energisation of main power transformers.
• Manage the pre-commissioning and energisation of MV switchgear and distribution systems.
• Commission power conversion units, rectifiers and step-down transformers.
• Support the commissioning of reactive power compensation systems, including StatCom modules and harmonic filters.
• Coordinate earthing resistance measurements and initial inspections.
• Perform protection, interlock and functional tests.
• Support grid-connection and regulatory compliance activities.
• Direct electrical vendors and site subcontractors.
• Manage Inspection and Test Plans and resolve non-conformities.
• Coordinate system handovers from construction to commissioning.
• Ensure punch-list closure and as-built documentation compliance.
