Job summary

WLG in Den Haag is seeking an experienced engineer to design pipelines and ontologies on Palantir Foundry for defence and national-security applications across Europe. You will own end-to-end solutions from initial sketch to production, working with live intelligence, sensor feeds, and mission context.

The role mixes field-ready on-site work and remote collaboration, with travel roughly a quarter to three quarters of the time.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering, shipping systems into production.
• Fluency in at least one of Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript or JavaScript, Bash, Go.
• Containers (Docker or Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes or OpenShift), with solid Linux, networking and on-premise fundamentals.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry and building data pipelines, ontology models and operator-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Sitting with defence and security users to understand what matters most to them in situational awareness and force protection, then scoping solutions against it.
• Designing, building and deploying on Palantir Foundry — data pipelines, ontology models and operator-facing applications.
• Bringing live intelligence into the workflows, common operating pictures and command-and-control tooling already in use, so that people with very different information needs each receive what is relevant to their mission.
• Building and tuning custom widgets where that is what the user actually needs.
• Owning solutions end to end, with little supervision and sound technical judgement of your own.
• Debugging across the whole stack — infrastructure, networking, application — often in restricted, disconnected or on-premise settings.
• Being the technical adviser the customer's engineers and operators trust, and carrying their feedback back into the product.
• Travelling to customer sites and operations centres in Europe, roughly a quarter to three quarters of the time.
