Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking an engineer to design and deploy live intelligence workflows using Palantir Foundry. You will build data pipelines, ontologies, and operator-facing apps, delivering end-to-end solutions for defence and national-security customers across Europe.

You will collaborate with operators and engineers, travel to customer sites and operate in secure facilities, applying strong engineering fundamentals and modern data work practices.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in CS, software engineering, math or physics.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry work: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Code Repositories and Workbooks, application development.
• Proficient in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript or JavaScript, Bash, Go.
• 3+ years of professional software or forward-deployed/solutions engineering.
• Ability to pick up unfamiliar platform architectures quickly and reason about operator impact.
• Docker and Kubernetes with solid Linux and on-premise fundamentals.
• Stakeholder communication and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Sitting with defence and security users to understand key needs and scope solutions.
• Designing, building and deploying on Palantir Foundry—data pipelines, ontology, modules and apps.
• Bringing live intelligence into workflows and common operating pictures for diverse users.
• Building and tuning custom widgets to meet user needs.
• Owning end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision and sound judgment.
• Debugging across infrastructure, networking, and application layers in restricted/on-premise settings.
• Advising customer engineers and feeding feedback into the product.
• Travel to customer sites and operations centres across Europe.
