Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking an engineering professional to design and operate Palantir Foundry pipelines and applications for defence and security clients across Europe. You will own data models, widgets and operator-facing tools from concept to live deployment.

The role requires hands-on Foundry work, strong software skills, and the ability to travel to customer sites in Europe as needed and to work in hybrid fashion with some on-site work in secure facilities.

Qualifications

• A strong engineering background in a technical field.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry work: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, code repos and workbooks.
• Fluency in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash or Go.
• 3+ years of professional software or solutions engineering.
• Ability to learn new platform architectures quickly.
• Experience with Docker or Podman and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage with defence and security users to scope solutions.
• Design, build and deploy on Palantir Foundry: data pipelines, ontology and widgets.
• Integrate live intelligence into existing workflows and operator tools.
• Create custom widgets to meet user needs.
• Own end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision.
• Debug across stack—infrastructure, networking, app—often in restricted settings.
• Act as technical adviser and feed customer feedback to product teams.
• Travel to customer sites and operations centres in Europe as needed.
