Job summary

WLG in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deploy Palantir Foundry pipelines, ontologies and operator-facing applications for defense, national-security and NATO-aligned customers across Europe.

You will work with live intelligence data, own end-to-end solutions, travel to customer sites in Europe, and collaborate with security-focused teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry work: pipelines, ontology, Compute Modules, Repositories and Workbooks.
• Fluency in Python, Java, SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash or Go.
• 3+ years of professional software or forward-deployed / solutions engineering.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar platform architectures and data models quickly.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and solid Linux/networking.

Responsibilities

• Sitting with defence users to understand critical needs in situational awareness.
• Designing, building and deploying on Palantir Foundry – pipelines, ontology models and apps.
• Bringing live intelligence into workflows and command-and-control tooling.
• Building and tuning custom widgets to meet user needs.
• Owning end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision.
• Debugging across infrastructure, network, and application layers in restricted environments.
• Serving as a trusted technical adviser and feeding feedback to product.
• Traveling to customer sites and operations centres across Europe.
