Job summary

NovoServe, an entrepreneurial, tech-driven IaaS provider headquartered in the Netherlands, seeks a Network Engineer to join our operations team in Enschede. You will help design, implement and operate resilient, high-performing networks across multiple data centers and continents, collaborating with Development to automate and secure the network and improve DDoS protection.

The role includes on-call duties, proactive monitoring and traffic optimization to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

At least HBO level thinking and working.
Familiar with router technologies and protocols: BGP, IS-IS, VXLAN, EVPN.
Solid knowledge of Linux systems.
Solid knowledge and experience with Arista network equipment.
Experience with network automation (e.g. Ansible).
Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English.
Familiarity with DWDM networks is a plus.

Design, implement and operate resilient, high-performing network solutions.
Focus on proactive monitoring and continuous improvement of infrastructure.
Collaborate with Development to automate the network and enhance in-house DDoS protection.
Contribute to incident management, including on-call and standby duties.
Assist in traffic optimization to support growth and evolving demands.
