NovoServe is seeking an Experienced Network Engineer to join our expanding IaaS team in the Netherlands. You will design, implement, and operate resilient, high‑performing networks and collaborate with Development to automate and secure our infrastructure.

You will handle incident management, on‑call duties, traffic optimization, and contribute to advanced DDoS protection, with a hybrid work setup and a competitive salary up to €5,000 gross per month plus benefits.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking to work with cutting-edge infrastructure and a growing international IaaS provider? NovoServe is hiring now an Experienced Network Engineer in the Netherlands.

Our company

NovoServe is an entrepreneurial, tech-driven IaaS provider headquartered in the Netherlands. We deliver high-performance, scalable bare-metal servers on a secure and resilient platform. With global expansion as one of our key ambitions, we're bringing our services to customers across all industries around the world.

We operate an international network that supports over 7,000 physical servers, offers 18 Tbps of external connectivity and has dozens of peering partners. Our network infrastructure is distributed across 8data centers on two continents, ensuring high availability, resilience, and global reach. We are looking to expand the team responsible for our network infrastructure with an experienced Network engineer .

Your role, within our team

As a Network Engineer , you will be part of our operations team. This team is dedicated to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure by combining network expertise with modern DevOps practices.

Within the team you will contribute to the design, implementation and operation of resilient, high-performing network solutions. Together the team focuses on proactive monitoring and continuous improvement, ensuring that our infrastructure can support the growth and evolving demands of our business.

You will collaborate with the Development department to further automate the network, ensure network security, and enhance our in-house DDoS protection. Additionally, you will be involved in incident management (including participation in on-call and standby duties) and traffic optimization.

Your profile

You enjoy collaborating with the team to improve our network infrastructure. You have strong analytical skills, allowing you to get to the root cause of issues during network incidents and resolve them independently.

• You possess at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
• You are well-versed in router technologies and protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• You have solid knowledge and experience with Linux systems.
• You have solid knowledge and experience with Arista network equipment.
• Experience with or interest in network automation (e.g. Ansible).
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Familiarity with DWDM networks is a plus.

• a salary up to € 5.000,- gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week), depending on knowledge and experience;
