Damen Naval is seeking an HVAC Integration Engineer to lead heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, cooling, and refrigeration system integration on complex (naval) vessels. You’ll manage the full process from initial proposals to ship delivery, collaborating with engineers across disciplines to meet contract requirements and ensure smooth integration across departments.

Qualificações

• Higher education in HVAC engineering or mechanical engineering with proven work experience.
• Minimum five years of experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC-R systems in marine/offshore environments.
• Knowledge of electrical and automation in marine/offshore environments.
• Quality, planning and budget awareness.
• Ability to work with multiple external suppliers/subcontractors.
• Experience with regulatory bodies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on client and design requirements.
• Conduct technical evaluations of subcontractor quotations and review supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate supplied components/systems into vessel design in collaboration with internal departments and customers.
• Prepare and verify technical/specification documents and test/validation plans.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participate in design reviews and risk analyses to ensure quality.
