Job summary

Centre People Appointments is recruiting an Operations Coordinator for a Japanese company in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands. This role focuses on distribution, logistics coordination, order management, and ensuring smooth product flow from suppliers to customers.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, strong coordination and English skills, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite).

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain coordination.
• Experience with order management, purchasing, logistics coordination, and stock control.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, especially NetSuite.
• Experience with freight cost optimisation is advantageous.
• Business level fluency in English.
• Understanding of Japanese corporate culture is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Handle spot and scheduled customer orders
• Purchase goods based on customer demand and stock levels
• Coordinate logistics activities, including shipment arrangements and delivery follow-ups
• Troubleshoot shortages, delivery delays, and stock discrepancies
• Oversee customs clearance and prepare required documentation
• Receive and validate forecast sheets and customer schedules
• Perform stock checks and support logistics cost optimisation
