Responsibilities

• The Operations Coordinator supports all areas of the organization with an emphasis on Distribution & Logistics.
• Ensures warehouse receives and ships product on time and follows up with freight forwarders to monitor delays.
• Ensures proper handling of material to prevent damage and that correct documentation is submitted.
• Handle spot and scheduled orders, purchasing goods based on customer demand, stock level, and forecast schedules.
• Manage forecast sheets and schedules, communicate inconsistencies, and purchase goods to meet future demand.
• Monitor inventory levels, avoid overstock, and perform stock checks with warehouse collaboration.
• Control freight costs by consolidating shipments and balancing cost per unit with deadstock risk.
• Provide excellent customer service, advise on shipping methods, and act as account manager for delivery issues.
