Job summary

Planet is seeking a hybrid Knowledge Manager to own knowledge acquisition, organization, and knowledge base governance. You will align with AI Agent management to ensure accurate, relevant recommendations and remedial actions for content gaps.

This role collaborates with engineering, product, and education teams to ensure clear, accessible information for customers and partners. Candidates should have 4+ years in knowledge management/technical writing, AI/NLP familiarity, and experience with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of knowledge management and technical writing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and NLP.
• Experience creating/using AI Agents and familiarity with AI agent architectures.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Perl) and GIS applications (ESRI, QGIS).
• Experience with geo-spatial data, satellite imagery, and remote sensing.
• Experience with Zendesk, JIRA, or comparable ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions.
• Ability to translate AI capabilities into tangible business value and analyze outputs.
