Damen Naval, the naval division of Damen Shipyards Group, is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to develop a secure cyber design for our frigates. You will drive security concepts across the project lifecycle and ensure compliance with Class and customer requirements, working with suppliers and internal teams.

You will contribute to test plans, design reviews, and vendor assessments, bringing five+ years of IT/OT security experience, networking expertise, and knowledge of ISO 27001/IEC 62443 to

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in design or maintenance of IT/OT systems.
• Extensive knowledge of networking and IT systems and hardening.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and IEC 62443 standards.
• Proficient in German and English (written & spoken).
• Security screening is part of the hiring process.

Responsabilidades

• Develop deliverables: specs, functional descriptions, drawings, security concepts.
• Participate in IT/OT security discussions.
• Contribute to test and verification plans for security measures.
• Support design checks and reviews to meet cybersecurity standards.
• Verify technical performance of vendors and subcontractors.
• Analyze offers with Purchase department.
• Ensure compliance to Class and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely input.
